"Hi Jacky, I would like to give the dispatch team ‘big ups’ for the great work they performed for us last Thursday.


We realised that the renewals had not been run for May on Thursday 30th meaning about 120 cards were going to expire the next day at midnight and no cards had been produced to replace them. Most of these cards were for Minifuels who work 24/7 and access to fuel is critical to their business.


Added to this we had a long weekend ahead so in all likelihood cards would not have been received until at least Tuesday without urgent intervention.


I called and explained the problem asking what our options might be and if there was a chance to run the cards and dispatch urgently... [they] called me to advise to send the file through and they would do their best.


We sent a special file at 4.54pm and I received an email from Alison by 5.50pm advising they had produced the cards and dispatched by overnight courier all the out of town cards – less than an hour, fantastic work. The next morning the Auckland cards were sent same day courier so the card holders were all in receipt of their cards on time. An awesome effort on the part of the team and one that we are extremely grateful for. [They] kept us informed of the progress and sent through all the courier ticket numbers in case there were any card holders that had not received the cards so we could perform a track n trace if need be.


From the 120 cards we had one complaint and it was nothing to do with non-receipt of the card.
